The date is Tuesday 24 March, 2020. The United Kingdom has just been placed in Quarantine, along with India, China, France, Italy, New Zealand, Poland.

Suddenly a whole lot of Brits are going to have an unprecedented surplus of time on their hands.
This song is my commentary on that fact.

I spent my first 6 hours of quarantine creating this song.

Now I can safely listen to it on repeat for the weeks we are in a state of lockdown.

Gives me something to do, and keeps you from feeling bogged down

Your technique will need to be oblique to escape your feelings for a week

Instead of analysing your behaviour

I'm afraid that you will lose. It's a sour bit of news
Nature is bigger and more powerful than you

A lot of self-discovery is gonna occur
Cos up until the quarantine your life's been a blur

It's been nursery and then school
Then college, university and then a job

But NOOOWWW that's gone
You've got nothing going on

For 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour FOUR
10 hours 20 hours 50 hours MORE

Oh lord I wish you luck
I hope your lockdown doesn't suck

But, that's up to you
What will you choose to do
